WHEN IS BATTLE?
Battle of the Bamboo will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024!
WHERE WILL THE EVENT BE HOSTED?
BOTB will be held live and in-person at:
The Copernicus Center
5216 W Lawrence Ave, Chicago, IL
We are NOT at the UIC Isadore and Sadie Dorin Forum like previous years.
WILL MASKS BE REQUIRED AT BATTLE OF THE BAMBOO 2024?
BOTB will be following CDC guidelines; masks WILL NOT be required for the event. However, feel free to wear masks at your personal discretion.
WILL VACCINATION STATUS BE CHECKED UPON ENTRY?
We want to keep everyone as safe as possible, so we recommend that you be up to date on your vaccinations. As far as the event goes, we WILL NOT be checking vaccination records for entry.
HOW MUCH IS THE PERFORMER FEE?
All information regarding performer fees can be found on our official performer registration form
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO PREFORM?
Our official registration form opens on November 10, 2023 and closes on December 10, 2023 @ 11:59PM CST.
FOR OUT-OF-STATE PREFORMERS, WILL THERE BE HOTELS PROVIDED?
Schools will have the option of asking for a hospitality package that will provide hotel information, as well as other information to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is up to the schools to reserve the hotels for their performers. BOTB is not responsible for any payments regarding school hotel room reservations. All information regarding hospitality info can be found on our hospitality info document.
